So, Marilyn Monroe once said, “I’m selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I’m out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best” and all hell broke loose. While women everywhere applauded the truth in those words, men found it unacceptable that women could use that as a convenient excuse to let their inadmissible behavior slide. If you, too, fall on the ‘pink’ side of things and feel that the quote stands justified for as long as women do not use it to tip the scales in their favor and get away with ‘anything’ that they wouldn’t accept done unto them, I guess you are okay. If men around you still find you too hard to handle or show clear signs of feeling intimidated, I guess it is more of their problem than yours’. Even so, if you’d care to learn if you can (at all) do something to put them at ease, here’s a lowdown on why you might be too hard to handle, based on your zodiac sign:

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

You work hard all the time and are so sincere and dedicated towards your work that it makes the men feel worthless. Obviously, you’re more successful and make more money than them. This makes them feel like you’re very difficult to compete with.

You’re human too; but when it comes to breaking down and crying before others, that’s a big NO for you. It’s easier for you to fight back and be a tough wall than to cry and let people see your weaker side. Hence, men apprehend that you’re emotionally firmer and probably stronger than they are.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

You have a lot of guy-friends; also most of them might even have a secret crush on you. It bothers men to think that you have a lot of options to settle down. Thus it makes them feel really uncomfortable and uneasy to acknowledge the fact that you’re friends with so many guys in your life.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

You’re very sentimental and easily swayed by emotions. You’re highly romantic and to be honest, it is creepy for men because the strength of your love freaks them out. They feel the need to tie themselves into an official wedlock with you instantly and that chases the guys away.

You’re confident, endearing and charming. Somehow, you manage to entice people into paying so much attention to you that they forget the rest. This might make the men feel like they’re dull and zilch compared to you. You steal the show with your charm and boldness thereby making them feel left out.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

You don’t like to reveal your emotions and your straight-face doesn’t allow them to divulge themselves. You don’t treat them like they’re special and are never more affectionate towards them. This makes them think that you’re not at all interested in them.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

You’re a perfectionist. That makes them feel inferior to you. Your assiduity, wisdom, persistence and diligence make them feel uneasy around you because they can’t be themselves when they’re with you. They experience discomfort in being their silly self around you as they’re way messier than you are.

You’ve powerful weaponry and that’s all you need to scare off men. Your charm, your sexuality, your intelligence, your wisdom, your wit, your money- all these weapons contribute to making men think that you’re very powerful, probably more than they are, and they can’t stand that.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

You possess a very inquisitive nature and hence read and travel a lot. Thus, you’re very informed about many aspects in life- this makes men feel like they know nothing compared to you. They feel like they are not very knowledgeable and consequently, self-conscious.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

You possess a strong sense of intuition and men know that you can read their minds very effectively. Thus, they cannot lie to you or make excuses because you are a master at defeating them in their own mind games. This freaks them out and sends them running away.
