1. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar contains anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that help reduce the pain associated with corns. Also, it helps keep the affected area free of an infections.

Remedy

  • Take a small tub and fill it with hot, soapy water. To this, add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar. Dip and soak your feet in this water for at least 15 minutes. Then, use a pumice stone to rub gently over the hardened, thickened site of the corns. Repeat this process for at least 10 days, within which the corns should peel away.

2. Baking soda

Baking soda is a natural exfoliant, which helps get rid of the dead skin covering the corn. This, in turn, will aid in speeding up the healing process. Additionally, thanks to its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, it will keep the affected areas infection-free.

Remedies

  • To a small basin of warm water, add 3 tablespoons of baking soda. Dip your feet in and soak for about 15 minutes. Take a pumice stone and rub the affected area to remove the dead skin. Follow this remedy once every day till the corn falls off.
  • In a clean bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of baking soda, a little lemon juice, and enough water to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the affected area, covering it with a bandage. Leave it on overnight. The following morning, rinse the paste off from the affected area with lukewarm water. Now use a pumice stone to get rid of the hardened skin from the site. Use this remedy once a day till the dries and flakes off.

3. Garlic

Garlic is a natural antioxidant, thus making it ideal in treating corns on the feet. Additionally, thanks to its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, it helps prevent infection in the affected areas.

Remedies

  • Crush a clove of garlic and rub it on the corn. Let it air dry. Then, cover it with a bandage, letting it sit overnight. The following morning, take off the bandage and wash your feet with warm water. Repeat this remedy every night till the corn falls off.
  • In a mortar and pestle, make a paste out of 2 cloves of garlic and a bit of white vinegar. Apply this directly on the corn, securing it with a tape. Let it stay on for at least a couple of hours, before removing the tape and cleaning the area. Repeat this process every day for several weeks till the corn falls off.
  • Make a paste out of 3 cloves of garlic and a pinch of salt. Slather this paste on the corn, securing it with a piece of tape. Let it stay on for 3 days. Take off the bandage on the last day, and it will pull of the corn too. If the corn hasn’t come out fully, repeat the process.

4. Lemon juice

Lemon juice is rich in citric acid, which helps soften the thickened, hardened skin that makes up the corn. It helps in making the corn fall out on its own.

Remedies

  • Dab a bit of fresh lemon juice on the corn, letting it air dry. Repeat this remedy thrice a day for best results.
  • In a clean cup, soak 2 cloves in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice for about 15 minutes. Take out the cloves and rub the clove-infused lemon juice on the affected areas. Let it air dry, and then re-apply the juice. Repeat this several times a day to see visible improvement in a few days.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of Brewer’s yeast with a bit of lemon juice to make a thick paste. Smear this on the affected areas, securing it with a bandage. Let it stay overnight. Take it off and scrub gently with a pumice stone the following morning. Repeat this remedy once a day till there is an improvement in your condition.

5. Licorice

  • Mix together 1 tablespoon of licorice powder and enough mustard oil to form a smooth, thick paste. Slather this on the affected area before going to sleep. Secure it with a bandage and leave in on overnight. The following morning, take off the bandage and rinse the area with lukewarm water. Repeat this process every night till the corn becomes soft and falls off on its own.

Papaya is another easy, effective, natural remedy to get rid of corns on the feet. Papaya contains certain natural compounds that help get rid of the hardened, thickened skin on the corns. Additionally, it also helps ease accompanying pain and discomfort, thus helping the corn to dry up and fall off faster.

  • Take a small piece of raw papaya and grate it to extract its juice. Dip a clean cotton ball in this juice and put it on the corn, securing it with tape. Let it stay on overnight. 7. Pineapple

  • Place a squarish piece of pineapple peel on the corn, with the inner side of the peel touching the corn. Secure this with a bandage, leaving it on overnight. The following morning, take off the bandage, rinse the area with lukewarm water, and pat dry. Apply some coconut oil to keep it moisturized. Repeat this remedy every night for at least a week to see the corn fall off effortlessly.

8. Pumice stone

  • Before going to bed, dip your feet in comfortably hot water in a small tub for about 10 minutes. This will soften the hardened, thickened skin.   • In a clean bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and enough honey to make a thick paste. Apply this on the corn, letting it air dry. Repeat this remedy thrice a day for at least a week so that the corn comes off on its own.

  • Place a few ice cubes in a thin cloth and use it to massage the affected area for a couple of minutes. Pat dry with a towel and apply some turpentine oil on the corn.   • In a microwaveable cup, melt a quarter cup of extra-virgin coconut oil. To this, mix 1 tablespoon of turpentine oil and 2 tablespoons of camphor oil. Allow the oil mixture to cool down completely. Next, dip your feet in a tub of warm water and soak for a few minutes. Pat dry with a towel and apply this oil mixture on the corn. Repeat this thrice a day till the corn falls off. Store the leftover oil mixture in an air-tight container and use as needed.

11. White vinegar

White vinegar is another amazing remedy that helps get rid of corns on the feet. White vinegar is highly acidic, which helps in softening the hardened skin on the corn. Additionally, its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties lower the risk of infection at the corn site.

Remedy

  • In a clean bowl, mix together 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts water. Use a Q-tip to dab this solution on the corn liberally. Cover the affected area with an adhesive band aid, leaving it on overnight. The following morning, use a pumice stone or an emery board to exfoliate the hardened skin around the corn.
