Sure, its a date! Let’s meet up at the toilet in Hyde Park!

“Desperate times call for desperate measures,” goes the popular proverb. But to be desperate enough to have a date in public toilets? That’s going too far. But that is what the British dating firm DoingSomething.co.uk is promising their customers!

In an era of dating sites catering to bizarre passions – vampire passions, zombie passions, furrymate, etc., you have to have that slight edge to come across as unique and innovative. So, the firm DoingSomething.co.uk teamed up with London Loo Tours to host an event that is a mix of a singles’ night, a pub crawl and sightseeing toilet tour. The event which is held once a month on Fridays, will give participants the opportunity to get to know each other in the unique setting of a loo, giving a whole new meaning to the term “crappy date”!

Participants of this unique event will be led around Westminster on a bar crawl and periodically stop off at public toilets, where they will be given a brief history on the bathrooms, and tips to find free ones in the area. The founder of DoingSomething.co.uk, Matt Janes, said, “Nothing would be more awkward than having a first date in a toilet … until now. We’ve given the London loo scene the ultimate DoingSomething.co.uk makeover and are encouraging Londoners to not be down in the dumps and try this new dating experience.”

We just hope that this ‘unique’ toilet dating event doesn’t take a dump while the participants are in the loo!
