Historically, women have been known to be hard to understand and hard to please. She’s a complex creature, and there may have been several times when you wish she was as simple as your cuddly pet. But seriously, you know that women are always ready with the waterworks, but did you know that they cry on average between 30 and 64 times a year? Though you might personally know a few ladies for whom that number is on the lower side; I know I do!

The sight of a woman staring into her wardrobe has astounded many a man. What exactly are they expecting to pop out of it, a lion and a witch? Women spend nearly a year of their lives deciding what to wear. Yes, ‘deciding,’ not actually getting ready. Although if the gorgeous Meryl Streep is their icon, then most men won’t really mind!

Before you get any sexist notions about women being concerned only with clothes, let us tell you that the first computer programmer in the world was a woman, Ada Lovelace. Yes, she wrote the very first algorithm ever and tried it out on her computing machine as well. We women may seem chaotic and crazy at times, but we do have a method to our madness. After all, we do get the job done in the end. Wonder what Aristotle thinks about that!!

No offence, Mr. Andersen, but that isn’t a likely problem with a woman! A woman’s daily vocabulary exceeds that of a man by a whopping 13,000 words. Yes, you knew she was rather more ‘chattier’ than you, but apparently, her quality of speech is much better than yours too. Touché, huh?

We honestly wish more women realized the beauty of this quote. Too many of them obsess about their derrieres and breasts! Speaking of which, did you know that compared to other mammals, a woman’s breasts are larger in proportion? Apparently, the size has nothing to do with milk producing capacity and more to do with attractiveness!!

Umm, we’re not sure how reliable this advice is! But guys, just so you feel better the next time you let one rip, know this: women fart just as much as men and get this; they smell worse. Yes, apparently women’s farts have much higher concentrations of hydrogen sulfide. Now you have an apt rejoinder on the ready next time you’re accused!

Yes, harsh but true; even an ‘au naturel’ look requires some work! It’s no wonder then that an average urban woman has 437 personal care products in her bathroom and dresser. Yes, we agree that’s a lot, and what’s worse is that most men can’t even identify the use for half of them!

Sure, why not? Especially, if like the average woman, you spend 5 days a year looking in the mirror, then it’s worth our while to smile while you’re at it! This statistic probably has a good dependency on our previous fact; after all, you need to analyze the result of your hard work! But yes, don’t forget to smile!

In spite of all the cosmetics and mirror time, the fact remains that only 2% of women would describe themselves as beautiful. You can probably place a good deal of blame on the current representation of women in media and the disproportionate emphasis on looking slim or hot. C’mon women, be sassy and take Zoe’s advice!
