Get ready ladies, as I’m about to give you the hottest of The Vampire Diaries characters that you are crushing on, and – oh yes, I’m so totally going to go all ‘count-downy’ here. Let the fun begin!

Who wouldn’t want to date the guy who has awesome connections like he does? He was the living and breathing (ironically, of course) ‘yellow pages’ of the vampire world in the series. I was personally devastated when Mr. Michelson brought him to his end (of course I didn’t understand Elijah to known he’s too hot to ever be blamed back then), and I missed how interesting he could have made the show. Smoking hot in looks, his attraction was fueled by those vampire special charms that you surely couldn’t have missed.

Ah, here comes our on-screen hottie, cut out right from his on screen character from the show. You’ve got to say, he was one cute person who was hot even before going through the transition. A ‘walk away Joe’ he might have been, but what a remarkable and unforgettable one as well. He was, after all, a face for the camera and what else would you expect? After all, that flirtatious cheat Jenna wasn’t able to resist his charms, and you can’t either. So, just put your ‘fresh-vamp’ sign on board and get ready for the show of your life with this amazing vampire (on fire!).

You can’t forget him, can you? I know we did not get to see much of him in the series, but he was one of many who fell for the wicked lure of our beloved Miss Pierce (though it does make him a little baffled in the mind, like all of them, but sexy nonetheless.) He was a real hottie, which was obvious even in those few scenes he had. Hot, caring, not so smart but loving, as evidenced by what he did to save the woman he fell for from probably the most dangerous man of all time. Ah, that’s a guy you would love to share a drink with! It would be your sweet, red warmth right from the vein of course. (Just do remember to not go bottoms up with the vervain, my dear.)

9. Noah

I’ll never stop falling for the irresistible bad guys, and this particular badass vamp is someone who engaged us not just with his sexy looks, but also with the excellence of the character he played. Obsessed with Elena (and yes, again, who isn’t!), he gave us a lot of diabolical excitement on screen. No wonder he once had a thing for our super vamp, Katherine. He has this sizzling and gorgeous personality, and if you were in Elena’s place, you probably would have welcomed him with some chocolate-dipped strawberries and ice-cooled champagne upon his stalker break-in into your house. (Wicked, right?)

8. Silas (Oh, come on, I’m an immortal who drinks blood, get over the witch part already!)

I know, I know, you might judge me and say that I only put him on the list because he looks so much like Stefan, but know that I do not care! Seeing another one of The Vampire Diaries characters like my top-favorite vampire, with the added x-factor of some timeless witchy magic, oh yeah, it is a wonderful turn on alright! Do you have any idea how many girls he had drooling over his immortal self? Well, say what you will, but there was something about his exquisite manner of mind control and hocus-pocus that made each of us weak in the knees, yes?

7. Enzo

Talk about the sexy brother from another mother of Damon’s past, and this epitome of Vampire-ish sexiness is sure to pop right in your mind. Hot as it gets, this Enzo guy had every girl from across the world waiting on some dark deeds from him. That perfectly sculpted body and those kiss-perfect lips of his made everyone, like every frigging girl on the planet, have their heart skip a beat. And the fact that our on screen Miss Perfect Caroline might have a thing for him makes me shout a “no, no, please no” out loud! (So jealous!) And on top of everything, this guy knows how to die and come back again, and this is just how tough (and rough) we wish our men to be. (Can I have some applause on this?)

6. Tyler Lockwood (technically a hybrid, but with a frigging sexy vampire-ish magic nonetheless)

How do I start on this one now? Okay, a pampered rich mayor brat, the hot shot of the school’s football team, a popular choice among the girls, the alpha of the super wolf-vamp hybrids, (the guy who got to be with Caroline) – the list goes on and on. What I mean to say is, Tyler is totally one Lockwood all you pretty ladies would love to be with. Imagine your own wolf with those dreamy vampire-ish fangs, the fantasy can’t get better than this. Believe me Ty, even if destiny denies us, I’ll always wish for you to be on my moon for sure!

5. Kol Mikaelson

The mini countdown for the Mikaelson hotness starts with this wicked, naughty, (okay, a little too naughty maybe), and manipulative vampire from the very first family. Now, where do I begin? This is the only vampire I know who has been a ladies’ man forever. Believe me girls, Kol is as mischievously sexy as they come. This guy’s been around for many centuries and I can guarantee you he’s got all those tricks up his sleeves we’ve never seen before (and would so love to!). A great flirt with the perfect English style and a super cute accent, he is just the vampire who can make you weak in the knees. So, you better watch out with that vervain bracelet you don’t have, missy!

4. Elijah Mikaelson

Say hello to the big Mikaelson brother. He’s not just older in age, he is also stout with a hell lot of experience and elegance. We all know him as the noble original, brimming with a gentlemanly quality that will make you all kill for his company. (Imagine yourself going on a bloody rampage in the CUTTHROAT quest for his affection – wow, fascinating!) Well-bred and superbly groomed, this old vamp would make the perfect groom, ha. No kidding, ladies, be honest and tell me, don’t you feel your heart stopping at the sight of his spotless classy attire, with his princely charm casting magical vampire-ish spells on you? I bet you do.

3. Stefan Salvatore

Oh yes, after the noble Elijah, comes this hotness – the good Salvatore brother (or the best parts of vampirism at the very least). Elena’s first love, and ours as well, this guy stole our hearts his very first ‘sexy back’ appearance in the very first episode of The Vampire Diaries series. He is a compassionate and caring person who has all the potential to be the best boyfriend (if only someone let him!). Frankly speaking, hon, you just can’t deny that his irresistible lure would ultimately draw you in. Ah! What immense and outlandish pleasure would that be, right? So count your blessings, and jot down this covert feeling in that journal maybe!

He is the real ‘oldest vampire in the history of time’ (who came after, of course, Miss Gilbert). And here comes the awesome end to my countdown – Damon “frigging sexy” Salvatore! Oh yeah, this is one of The Vampire Diaries characters who practically defines hotness. Line up as many hot guys as you want but this badass fellow is going to be my choice over all of them. (Yup, you heard it, sorry Wolverine and Iron Man, even you gotta wait for a bit, and frankly Mr. Cullen, you don’t even have a chance!) The heartthrob in the eyes of millions of girls all over the world, he is undoubtedly the vampire who turns us all on with the hellish vampire-ish smile of his. He’s so good at being bad, you want to be bad! (ooh, that Damon goodness! We’re so done for.)
