Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or DDLJ as the fans refer to it, is probably one of the most loved movies of our generation. It still holds a special place in audiences’ hearts, and I think we’re all guilty of watching it over and over again. I think, more than the plot of the movie, the audience resonated with the love story of Raj and Simran, played brilliantly by Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.
And this iconic cult romantic movie has turned 20 today, which released in 1995 and was an instant blockbuster. To commemorate this happy occasion, the lead pair of the movie came together in a heartwarming video where they reminisce about it having been twenty years since the initial release of the movie. Not just that, but the lovely couple also enact a few memorable lines from the movie as well.

Another surprise that the stars have in store for their fans is their re-enactment of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’s poster. The two stars are currently shooting for their upcoming movie, Dilwale, directed by Rohit Shetty, who doesn’t need any introduction.

The man behind Chennai Express is the reason this crowd-favorite star couple has come together for Dilwale. The stars haven’t been seen together on screen since My Name Is Khan, which released in 2010. Five years is a long gap for Shahrukh and Kajol fans, don’t you think? 😉
