Why will guys like it- Unlike the boy-meets-girl, falls-in-love, gets-her-after-hardships and lives-happily-ever-after kind of love story, this offbeat and honest tale of a broken heart, poured out in flashbacks by the hero (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) whose heart was broken by Zooey Deschanel’s character is a refreshingly REAL dose of romance!

2. P.S. I Love You (2007)

 

Why will guys love it – A reverso of sorts of the conventional ‘chick-flick’ genre, this movie’s a must watch to explore how love finds a way to be ever-present. Plus, the splendid presence of Gerard Butler.

3. My Sassy Girl (2008)

Why will guys like it – Because it isn’t everyday that you get to see a tale where you fall in love with a person who is off your ‘idea’ of a perfect mate by a thousand light years or more and yet, come to love her in all her perfect imperfections! You know what they say- True love simply loves..for who the beloved is!

4. Meet Joe Black (1998)

Why will guys like it – Because romance sprinkled atop something that you might not believe in- but are open to being convinced by, is a lifetime treat!

5. Charlie’s Angels (2000)

Why will guys like it – Duh uh- which guy says NO to Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu, huh?

7. Grease (1978)

Why will guys like it – Because when a goofy tale of a good girl’s love for a greaser renegade is set against a high school backdrop and garnished with the T Birds gang, machismo and ooh-the cars, the platter is bound to appeal to all male palates!

8. Man Up (2015)

Why will guys like it – This rom-com runs on the tried-and-tested swap of the hopeless romantic with the cynical-about-love character but with a twist! What- you’ll have to watch and find out!

9. Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008)

Why will guys love it – Because Hollywood has a way of making teen romances sickeningly sweet and this one isn’t! It is a fresh breath of air. Plus, the music is GOOD!

10. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

Why will guys like it- Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles as Patrick Verona and the tempestuous Kat! Enough said.
