If you have sensitive lips, then you should certainly consider trying this easy recipe. It will nourish your lips and make sure they stay soft for hours. The balm will add an extra protective layer on your lips, preventing them from dryness or damage.

To start with, just take some beeswax and cocoa butter. Mix it with a few drops of almond oil and hemp oil. Afterward, pour some honey to the mixture as well. You can be a bit generous with the amount of honey you add. It is recommended to add Manuka honey, but you can go with some other variety as well. Heat the mixture on medium flame for a few minutes. Stir it a bit as honey would take some time to dissolve. Once it is done, turn off the heat and add a few drops of citrus essential oil to give it a distinctive essence.

If you love the scent of citrus fruits, then this would be an ideal pick for you. This is a must-have summer essential and will give your lips a soothing and fresh coating. The recipe is based on coconut oil, but you can replace it with almond oil as well. Firstly, pour beeswax, cocoa butter, and coconut oil into a container and heat it.

Stir the mixture regularly and remove it once you get a consistent and thick texture. Now, add a few drops of lemon essential oil to the mixture and stir it again. Wait for it to cool and pour it in glass lids. That’s it! You can just open the jar whenever you want and apply this refreshing balm on your lips.

Just the name of this lip balm sounds exotic, isn’t it? One of the best things about the lip balm is that it is both nourishing and refreshing. Vanilla has a calm and soothing scent, and is known for its healing properties as well. The tint of orange will give the lip balm a more refreshing appeal.

Firstly, take one part of beeswax and half-part cocoa butter. Mix it in a container and boil it on medium heat. Gradually, pour some honey to the mixture and stir it for a few minutes. Once the mixture is even, remove it from the heat and add a few drops of orange essential oil as well as vanilla essence. Pour it in tin or glass containers and cool it for an hour or two.

This is an all-natural lip balm that doesn’t contain any chemical ingredient or preservative. You can make your own lip balm by using raspberry extract or frozen raspberries. We recommend using frozen raspberries as they last longer. You can dry them and keep them in the freezer beforehand. Since the recipe has real raspberries, it will give a more natural essence to the balm.

To work on it, simply take equal parts of beeswax and coconut oil, and mix them in a container. Boil it for a few minutes at medium heat and take the dried frozen raspberries. Grind the frozen raspberries to get a powder-like texture. Now, add the powder to the mixture and stir it regularly. In the end, fill it in a container and let it cool for an hour.

Yes – you have read it right. This is not only a lip balm, but also a lip scrub. Therefore, you can gently apply it on your lips and rub it in a circular motion. It will clear your lips from impurity and dead cells while leaving a soothing texture. Since it is based on cinnamon, you would adore the earthly essence of it as well.

This homemade recipe is based on brown sugar that would work as a scrubber, and honey to nourish your lips. Firstly, take raw honey, olive oil, and brown sugar in a container. Mix it thoroughly or heat it on low for a few seconds. Now, add ground cinnamon powder to the mixture and let it cool for a while. Use it before bedtime to exfoliate your lips and nourish them at the same time.

Pour it in a tin container and let it cool for a while.

If you have tender or sensitive lips, then you can consider making this homemade lip balm. Since it is 100% natural based, we haven’t used an artificial coloring agent in it. If you want to give your lip balm some color, then you can just take the assistance of hibiscus or beetroot powder.

Simply add equal parts of coconut oil and beeswax in a double boiler. You can boil it for a few minutes at medium heat and add a homemade coloring agent. Also, you can add any essential oil to the mix at the end.

  1. Pink Grapefruit Lip Balm

This is a slightly modified version of the previous recipe. We will add beetroot powder to the mix in order to give it a prominent pink color. The balm will also leave a slight shade on your lips as well. Its grapefruit flavor will impart a more soothing and refreshing taste to it.

Just add Shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, and some castor oil to a glass jar. Place a pan half-filled with water to heat and place the glass jar inside. In this way, you can boil the ingredients in a secure manner. Heat it for a few minutes and stir it for a gentle mix. Add beetroot powder to it and keep stirring it until you get a uniform texture. In the end, add a few drops of grapefruit essential oil and let it cool it in glass or tin containers.

Firstly, take a tablespoon of each beeswax, Shea butter, and almond oil. Mix it and add three tablespoons of cocoa butter to it. You can also add some cocoa powder to the mixture if you want to. Stir it evenly and add some vanilla essence in the end. Pour it into a container and wait for it to settle.

To start with, take equal parts of beeswax, cocoa butter, almond oil, and maple syrup. Add the first three ingredients to a container and heat it at medium. After stirring it for a while, gently add maple syrup. You might have to stir thoroughly for the maple syrup to mix. Let it cool after getting a consistent texture.
